The driving influence behind Performance Connect is Marya Grier, a creative, dynamic and passionate person who believes deeply that positive behavior changes through goal achievement will yield improved results.
Marya holds a B.S. and Public Health Certificate in Nursing and an M.S. in Health Care Management. Her passion for business and individual development has earned her 13 professional certifications from these world renowned companies: DDI, Kepner-Tregoe, Blessing-White, The Ken Blanchard Companies, Business Processes, Inc., Situational Management Systems, Inc., Gordon Training International, Performance Impact, Inc., and ExecComm. She has traveled worldwide delivering programs to corporate executives, managers, supervisors and employees.
Marya speaks from experience and 30 years of pharmaceutical and health care industry experience in management development, education and training and health care management. She has also done organization consulting focusing on performance development and process improvement.
She is the published author of the "Nurses Guide to Infection Control Practice" with E. Jacqueline Kirkus. Her professional memberships include: American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), American Management Association (AMA), DDI Facilitator Network, International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and NJAWBO (New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners) where she is State President.
