Send and You Shall Receive

Not long ago, The WebArtNTech Newletter published an article I wrote entitled "Thinking Email?  Then Think Efficiency!"  It includes tips on how to get more efficient and conquer that email overload.  Here's a short excerpt.

Email is a great tool for your business and personal life, but you need to use it wisely!  It's important to break bad and tiring habits and handle your emails like a professional.  This means developing good email habits that build efficiency and productivity.

Here are some guidelines to decrease the number of unnecessary emails you get:

  • Tell the person what you are asking them to do in clear, precise language.
  • Use words that are friendly, courteous and respectful.
  • Avoid words that are curt, demanding, or rude.
  • Don't overuse "Reply to All".

The complete article is available for download on the WebArtNTech small business resource page
